Rio's stunning beaches
Submitted by jane_j on 2008-07-16 04:43:50 (via www.youtube.com)
The country of blissing beauty, where you can see dramatic scenic spots of mountains and enjoy the alluring ocean at the same time. The video is great though, as it represents all the amazing stuff Brazil has to offer.

Yeeey can't wait to get there! The sandy beaches, and the sun and the sea.Sooo...some of my friends and I would like to attend the carnival in 2009. We are students, about 20 years old, so we don't have a lot of money. We don't know what the process is to get this done? What to do,where to go,where to stay, how long to go for? Also how to get this done with as little money as possible is crucial:)What would you say is the minimum amount of money we would need to go to Carnival bearing in mind we would have to fly there and back(from Bulgaria). I would looove to get some advice on that!
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, if you want to see Brazil, you definitely need a lot of time. If you are looking for nice beaches, go to the Northeastern part (Nordeste). Fernando de Noronha is a beautiful place to go. I've been to the Amazon, and it's a interesting place to go if you like nature. You can go on a tour where you will walk through the jungle, swim at Rio Negro, see the encounter of Rio Negro and Rio Amazonas, which was pretty cool. The two rivers run together but they don't mix. So one side is dark and the other, brownish. You will also see some indian tribes there. I would include Foz do Iguaçu. The Iguaçu Falls. Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are not very safe. Crime is so common here, people are used to it. I know people who got shot, others that got murdered. Brazilian people are very friendly, but don't go trusting everyone and if you do get in a situation, just don't react. Hope this helps. It was your friend Adrian who asked me to comment here.

Hey Luza!
Thanks for your advice:) Yeah my friends and I would like to visit Brazil for some days during the Carnival. What would you suggest to see in the surroundings? Or some good places where I can get traditional food and drinks? And of course a nice beach to spend some quality time:)
